Cyber RPC
Cyber Overview
Cyber is an Ethereum Layer 2 built on the OP Stack with a focus on social applications. The network provides infrastructure for developers to build decentralized social applications with features like user profiles, social graphs, and content creation.
Cyber uses CYBER as its native token for transaction fees, governance, and staking. The network integrates with EigenLayer for restaking, allowing stakers to help secure the network and earn rewards.
Interacting with Cyber APIs
Cyber is fully EVM-compatible and supports standard Ethereum JSON-RPC methods. Developers can use familiar Ethereum tools like Hardhat, Foundry, Web3.js, and Ethers.js without modification.
As an OP Stack chain, Cyber follows the same RPC interface as other Optimism-based networks. This means applications built for Ethereum or other OP Stack chains can be deployed on Cyber with minimal changes. Cyber also provides access to its social features through the CyberConnect protocol, which developers can integrate into their applications.
The Quicknode Cyber documentation is continuously evolving as the chain undergoes upgrades and changes, so we highly recommend cross-referencing with the official Cyber documentation for the latest updates and features.
Make Cyber API Calls
The quickest way to start building on Cyber is to create a Quicknode endpoint and send your first JSON-RPC request.
Quicknode provides managed Cyber endpoints, giving you immediate access to Cyber Mainnet without the overhead of running infrastructure. These endpoints offer:
- High reliability – globally distributed infrastructure designed to minimize downtime
- Enhanced performance – optimized latency and request handling for production applications
- Integrated ecosystem – additional functionality through specialized APIs (add-ons) on the Quicknode Marketplace and products like Streams
Visit the QuickStart page to create your endpoint and send your first request.
Supported Networks
Quicknode provides access to the following Cyber networks:
