DATA Network RPC

With Quicknode, you get access to our global DATA Network network which always routes your API requests to the nearest available location, ensuring low latency and the fastest speeds.

DATA Network Overview

DATA Network is a purpose-built Layer 1 blockchain designed to establish provenance, confidentiality, and rights governance for data assets. It is 100% EVM-compatible with a CometBFT-based consensus layer enabling fast finality and economical transactions. The network addresses three critical needs: Trace (provenance and verifiable records), CDR (confidentiality through threshold encryption), and IP & Licensing (programmable usage rights). DATA Network supports diverse data types including images, datasets, AI training data, and real-world assets, with the $DATA token used for gas fees.

Interacting With DATA Network APIs

DATA Network exposes Ethereum-compatible JSON-RPC methods that allow developers to interact with the network programmatically. You can query blockchain state, send transactions, deploy and interact with smart contracts, and subscribe to real-time events via WebSocket.

You can connect by running your own node or by using a hosted provider such as Quicknode, which offers reliable, low-latency access without the need to manage infrastructure.

The Quicknode DATA Network documentation is continuously updated, but we recommend cross-referencing with the official Data Foundation documentation for the latest API details.

Make DATA Network API Calls

The quickest way to start building on DATA Network is to create a Quicknode endpoint and send your first request. Quicknode provides managed DATA Network endpoints, offering:

  • High reliability — globally distributed infrastructure designed to minimize downtime
  • Enhanced performance — optimized latency and request handling for production-grade apps

Visit the QuickStart page to create your endpoint and send your first request.
