debug_traceCallMany RPC Method

Executes a list of transaction bundles on top of the state of a given block and returns the trace of each transaction (Supported on Erigon).

Updated on
Oct 29, 2026

Parameters

bundles
array
REQUIRED

An array of bundles. Each bundle is executed in order, with the following fields:

transactions
array
REQUIRED

An array of transaction call objects executed in order. Each object can contain from, to, gas, gasPrice, value, and data

simulationContext
object
REQUIRED

The simulation context object with the following fields:

blockNumber
string
REQUIRED

The block number in hexadecimal format, the block hash, or tags such as latest, safe, or finalized

transactionIndex
integer

The position in the block at which the bundles are simulated

traceConfig
object

The tracer object with the following fields. If omitted, the default struct logger output is returned:

tracer
string

The type of tracer. It could be callTracer or prestateTracer

Returns

result
array

An array of arrays of trace objects, indexed as result[bundleIndex][transactionIndex], in request order. The indices are array positions, not object keys

[bundleIndex]
array

The array at result[bundleIndex], containing one trace object per transaction. Access each trace as result[bundleIndex][transactionIndex]. With callTracer, each trace object has the following fields; without traceConfig, it contains gas, failed, returnValue, and structLogs instead

from
string

The address the call is sent from

gas
string | integer

With callTracer, the gas provided for the call, encoded as hexadecimal. Without traceConfig, the total gas used by the transaction

gasUsed
string

The gas used by the call, encoded as hexadecimal

to
string

The address the call is directed to

input
string

The call data

output
string

The data returned by the call

value
string

The value sent with the call, encoded as hexadecimal

type
string

The type of the call, such as CALL, STATICCALL, or CREATE

failed
boolean

Returned when traceConfig is omitted. Whether the transaction failed

returnValue
string

Returned when traceConfig is omitted. The return value of the call

structLogs
array

Returned when traceConfig is omitted. The trace result of each step with the following fields:

pc
integer

The current index in bytecode

op
string

The name of the current executing operation

gas
integer

The available gas in the execution

gasCost
integer

The gas cost of the operation

depth
integer

The number of levels of calling functions

stack
array

An array of values in the current stack
