Parameters

hash

string

REQUIRED

The hash of a transaction

indices

array

REQUIRED

The trace tree path (traceAddress) of the trace to return, as an array of hex-encoded indices. For example, ["0x0"] returns the first subcall of the transaction

Returns

result

object

The trace object at the given path, or null if the transaction or the trace path is not found. It has the following fields (please note that all return types are hexadecimal representations of their data type unless otherwise stated):

action

object

The action to be performed on the receiver id

from

string

The address of the sender

callType

string

The type of method such as call, delegatecall

gas

string

The gas provided by the sender, encoded as hexadecimal

input

string

The data sent along with the transaction

to

string

The address of the receiver

value

string

The integer of the value sent with this transaction, encoded as hexadecimal

blockHash

string

The hash of the block where this transaction was in

blockNumber

integer

The block number where this transaction was in

result

object

The result of the call at the given trace path

gasUsed

string

The amount of gas used by this call, encoded as hexadecimal

output

string

The value returned by the contract call, and it only contains the actual value sent by the RETURN method. If the RETURN method was not executed, the output is empty bytes

subtraces

integer

The traces of contract calls made by the transaction

traceAddress

array

The list of addresses where the call was executed, the address of the parents, and the order of the current sub call

transactionHash

string

The hash of the transaction

transactionPosition

integer

The transaction position

The value of the method such as call or create
