What is Fantom?

Fantom is a high-performance, scalable blockchain platform that uses a unique consensus mechanism called Lachesis to achieve near-instant transaction finality. Built as a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) based network, Fantom can process thousands of transactions per second while maintaining EVM compatibility, low fees and high throughput.
