Parameters

options

object

Optional filters and read options. Unknown keys are rejected with -32602.

symbols

array

Case-insensitive stock tickers. Unknown tickers are skipped. Omit to use all tokens or registered feeds.

addresses

array

Stock token contract addresses. Combined with symbols using OR. Non-stock-token addresses return -32001.

fromTime

integer

Inclusive lower effectiveAt bound in Unix seconds; must be nonnegative.

toTime

integer

Inclusive upper effectiveAt bound in Unix seconds; must be at least fromTime.

includeScheduled

boolean

Include pending changes without an announced event. Defaults to true. Announced future actions are returned even when false.

limit

integer

Page size from 1 to 1000; defaults to 100.

cursor

string

Opaque nextCursor from the previous page. Omit for the first page.

The multiplier before and after, 10^18 scale.

newMultiplier

The multiplier before and after, 10^18 scale.

ratio

string

Multiplier ratio, newMultiplier / oldMultiplier, as a decimal string rounded down to 18 decimal places. For example, 4.0 represents a 4-for-1 split.

effectiveAt

integer

When the new multiplier applies (Unix seconds and ISO 8601).

The on-chain UIMultiplierUpdated events behind the action (block and transaction). Robinhood sometimes emits the same change twice; CRWD's split has two events but is one action. [] for a pending change no event has announced yet.

Hash of the transaction.

superseded

array or null

Earlier values for the same token and effectiveAt that a later event replaced, each with its own events. null or [] when nothing was replaced. May be null when unavailable or not applicable.

Earlier multiplier before the replaced change, scaled by 10^18.

newMultiplier

string

Earlier multiplier after the replaced change, scaled by 10^18.

Additional details

This method returns the history of stock token multiplier changes (splits, reinvested dividends) sorted by effectiveAt (newest first). Results are paginated—pass nextCursor as cursor to fetch the next page.

Action types

The chain records only that a multiplier changed, not why. When a Robinhood corporate action record matches (by token and process date within ±3 days), type comes from Robinhood and typeSource is ROBINHOOD. Otherwise the API infers type from ratio:

Above 1 and at most 1.02 (e.g. 1.0012)	CASH_DIVIDEND — reinvested into the multiplier
A whole number ≥ 2 (e.g. 4.0)	FORWARD_SPLIT (4-for-1)
Exactly 1/n, n ≥ 2 (e.g. 0.1)	REVERSE_SPLIT (1-for-10)
Anything else	UNKNOWN with typeSource: "NONE"

An inferred type is a best guess—a 5-for-4 split or large special dividend is left UNKNOWN rather than misclassified. The ratio field (computed from on-chain multipliers to 18 decimal places) is the reliable description.

Data freshness

Past actions come from a cache updated every 10 minutes. New actions are read live from the chain and appear within seconds of their event.

Errors

Code	When
-32001	An address in addresses is not a stock token.
-32004	History temporarily unavailable. Retry after data.retryAfterMs.
-32602	limit outside 1–1000, malformed cursor/address, invalid time range, or unknown option.
