Stellar Overview

Stellar is a decentralized payment network and blockchain platform designed for fast, low-cost cross-border transactions and asset transfers. The network uses the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP), a federated Byzantine agreement protocol that enables rapid transaction finality without traditional mining. Stellar facilitates multi-currency transactions and asset tokenization through built-in decentralized exchange functionality.

Interacting with Stellar's APIs

Stellar supports REST API methods through Horizon for querying ledger data, account information, and transaction history, plus the Stellar RPC API for smart contract deployment and invocation.
