Stellar Overview

Stellar is a decentralized payment network and blockchain platform designed for fast, low-cost cross-border transactions and asset transfers. The network uses the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP), a federated Byzantine agreement protocol that enables rapid transaction finality without traditional mining. Stellar facilitates multi-currency transactions and asset tokenization through built-in decentralized exchange functionality.

Interacting with Stellar's APIs

Stellar supports REST API methods through Horizon for querying ledger data, account information, and transaction history, plus Soroban JSON-RPC API for smart contract deployment and invocation.
