On July 07, 2022, we’re launching new pricing plans that provide more features, more responses, dedicated support, and a new free tier! With our new plans, Web3 builders get access to the entire Quicknode platform— all chains; recent and historical data; trace, debug, NFT APIs, Web3 APIs & more — and only pay for what they use.

Introducing the Discover Tier

We are thrilled to introduce our highly anticipated Free Plan for developers, tinkerers, traders, or anyone learning Web3. Builders working in all areas will appreciate our new free plan, whether DeFi, NFT’s, or Analytics. This plan offers 10 million monthly responses that you can use on any chain, access archive data, or use our powerful NFT and Web3 APIs. Don’t know where to start in blockchain development? All-Inclusive Billing

We heard our customers and made our pricing simple. The NFT Fetch API, Archive Data, Trace and Debug, and Address Balance Index are now included in our plans. Only pay for what you use. Period. Add-ons are no longer required to access enhanced features. Simply choose the plan that best suits your requirements and start building. Each plan has an included number of API Credits per month and paid plans have the ability to pay for more API Credits based on your usage.

Usage in our new pricing plans is measured in API Credits. Some methods have an API Credit value greater than 1: eth_getlogs has a value of 6, for example. API Credit values are based on the intensity that the method has on the platform and varies based on a number of complex factors (like compute, memory, disk, and network resources).

Global Account Billing

Access multiple chains and create multiple endpoints under a single paid plan. We realize that many developers choose a multi-chain strategy where they host governance and transactions on separate chains, or need separate endpoints for dev and prod environments. As a result, developers typically need access to many endpoints and chains but don’t want to double or triple their costs. As a user of our new plans, you can now spin up multiple endpoints, across multiple chains, all under one price and plan.

Future features and price changes to existing features will follow this model. We’re very excited as we develop and ship new features at Quicknode. Newly launched features will follow this model and have an associated multiplier per method. In the future, by using this model we will also be able to offer price reductions or make some features available for free for our users.
