XRP Ledger Overview​

The XRP Ledger is a decentralized, public blockchain built for payments and financial applications. It uses a unique consensus protocol that doesn't rely on mining or proof-of-work, enabling fast transaction settlement typically within 3-5 seconds with minimal energy consumption. The network facilitates cross-currency payments, decentralized exchange functionality, and tokenization through its native DEX and token issuance features.

Interacting with XRP Ledger's APIs​

XRP Ledger supports JSON-RPC API methods for querying ledger state, account information, transaction history, and submitting transactions.
