SKALE is an Ethereum-native blockchain network designed to enable developers to build fast, scalable, and gas-free decentralized applications (dApps). It targets high-throughput use cases such as gaming, artificial intelligence (AI), decentralized finance (DeFi), and NFTs. SKALE achieves this by offering a modular multichain architecture where developers can deploy dedicated or shared chains, called SKALE Chains, that operate with zero gas fees and instant finality. This architecture eliminates bottlenecks and latency issues common in other blockchains, providing a seamless user experience.

The network integrates natively with Ethereum, leveraging Ethereum's security and reliability while providing enhanced scalability and performance. SKALE uses a pooled validation model with containerized subnodes that run multiple chains concurrently, randomly rotating nodes to prevent collusion and ensure robust security. Its on-chain file storage supports full websites, NFT image storage, and AI/ML data integration, enabling complex dApps with trustless data storage. Instant block finality on SKALE prevents miner extractable value (MEV) attacks and chain reorganizations, which are common problems on other chains.

SKALE is actively used by developers building play-to-earn games, AI applications requiring high transaction throughput, and DeFi protocols that benefit from zero gas fees and front-running protection. The network supports over 2,500 transactions per second, has more than 150 validator nodes, and hosts a growing ecosystem with over 40 partners.
