Ampleforth is a decentralized cryptocurrency protocol that offers a unique approach to price stability by targeting the Consumer Price Index (CPI)-adjusted dollar. Unlike traditional stablecoins that maintain a fixed supply, Ampleforth uses an elastic supply mechanism where the quantity of tokens in user wallets automatically adjusts (rebases) daily to keep the token price close to 1 CPI-adjusted dollar.
