GMTrade is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange on Solana that brings the GMX V2 liquidity-pool model to the network. Originally launched in March 2025 as GMXSOL after a GMX DAO vote, it rebranded to GMTrade in November 2025 to establish an independent identity. Traders interact directly with on-chain liquidity pools from self-custodial wallets, with no deposits, sign-ups, or KYC required.
The exchange specializes in real-world-asset perpetuals, listing more than 50 markets that span crypto, forex, commodities, equities, and indices, with leverage up to 500x on select assets. A multi-pool architecture isolates risk at the pool level and coordinates liquidity through a GLV-style vault system, while a GT-based trade-to-mint model rewards activity and offsets trading costs. GMTrade has grown into one of the largest perp DEXs on Solana by volume.
