Mina Protocol

Mina Protocol is a layer-1 blockchain designed to be lightweight and scalable by maintaining a constant blockchain size of approximately 22KB. This is achieved through the use of zero knowledge proofs, which allow the entire blockchain state to be succinctly represented and verified without requiring nodes to store or process large amounts of data. Mina’s architecture enables developers to build zero knowledge smart contracts, called zkApps, using TypeScript, making it accessible to web developers familiar with this language.
