Kaia RPC

With QuickNode, you get access to our global Kaia network which always routes your API requests to the nearest available location, ensuring low latency and the fastest speeds.

Kaia Overview

Kaia is a Layer-1 blockchain utilizing an optimized Istanbul BFT consensus mechanism. Under the hood, the Kaia Virtual Machine (KVM) is EVM-compatible with support for all EVM opcodes and Kaia-specific precompiled contracts. Kaia also supports four different node types: Consensus Node (CN), which participates in block generation and validation; Proxy Node (PN), which provides network interfaces, transmits transactions, and propagates blocks; Endpoint Node (EN), which serves RPC API requests and handles data processing; and Bootnode, which facilitates new node discovery and network joining.

Its network is divided into three logical subnetworks, dividing responsibilities and operations. Its first subnetwork is called Core Cell Network (CCN), which is responsible for transaction execution, verification, and block creation. The subnetwork responsible for RPC requests is the Endpoint Node Network (ENN), while the Service Chain Network (SCN) is a sub-blockchain independently operated by dApps deployed on Kaia.

Interacting with Kaia APIs

Kaia's KVM is fully EVM compatible, supporting standard Ethereum JSON-RPC methods. This allows developers to use familiar Ethereum development tools including Foundry, Hardhat, Remix, and popular Web3 libraries without modification. The KVM supports all standard EVM opcodes plus additional Kaia specific precompiled contracts for enhanced functionality.

For the most current information on Kaia specific features and RPC behavior, we recommend referencing the official Kaia documentation alongside our documentation.

Making Kaia API Calls

The quickest way to start building on Hyperliquid is to create a QuickNode endpoint and send your first JSON-RPC request.

QuickNode provides managed Hyperliquid endpoints, giving you immediate access to the Hyperliquid Mainnet without the overhead of running infrastructure. These endpoints offer:

  • High reliability – globally distributed infrastructure designed to minimize downtime
  • Enhanced performance – optimized latency and request handling for production-grade apps
  • Integrated ecosystem – additional functionality through specialized APIs (add-ons) on the QuickNode Marketplace and products like Streams

Visit the QuickStart page to create your endpoint and send your first request.
