Rysk Finance

Rysk is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol designed to bring volatility yield strategies fully on-chain. It introduces a new primitive for covered calls and cash-secured puts, allowing users to earn upfront option premiums by specifying prices at which they are willing to sell or buy assets. This approach makes option strategies accessible to a broad audience without requiring intermediaries or exposing users to counterparty risk. All trades execute transparently on-chain with collateral locked in smart contracts, eliminating liquidation risks.

The protocol operates through a Request for Quote (RFQ) mechanism where multiple counterparties provide live quotes via a fast on-chain auction. Users see the best bid and can execute trades instantly, receiving premiums directly in their wallets. Rysk supports multiple assets including ETH, BTC, and various tokenized assets like HYPE and liquid staking tokens (LSTs). Its design emphasizes transparency, composability, and security, with automatic settlement at expiry and no rehypothecation of collateral.

Rysk is currently live on the HyperEVM mainnet and targets DeFi developers, financial institutions, and tokenization platforms seeking to integrate volatility yield products. Developers can get started by connecting wallets to the Rysk app and selecting from multiple strike prices and expiries to tailor yield and risk profiles.
