Overview​
Custom chains are chains created to cater to a particular use case. One might require deep blockchain knowledge to create their custom AppChain (application specific chain), and that's where Arbitrum Orbit comes to the rescue. One can create a layer 3 chain utilizing Arbitrum's rollup as a service called Orbit.
