eth_chainId RPC Method

To use the eth_chainId method on the Avalanche C-Chain, ensure that the end of your URL includes ext/bc/C/rpc.

Parameters

This method does not accept any parameters

Returns

chainId

string

The current network/chain ID encoded as a hexadecimal string.
