Nomina RPC
Nomina Overview
Nomina is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain that executes Ethereum smart contracts without modification. Smart contracts written in Solidity or other EVM languages compile to standard EVM bytecode and deploy directly on Nomina's network. The platform operates both a production Mainnet and an Omega testnet environment.
Nomina maintains full bytecode-level compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine and uses an account-based model to track balances and contract state. The network includes Debug API support for transaction tracing, enabling developers to analyze internal call patterns and debug contract execution.
Interacting with Nomina's APIs
Nomina supports standard Ethereum JSON-RPC methods and Debug APIs, enabling developers to use Ethereum's native tools like Viem, Ethers.js, Hardhat, and Foundry without modification. The platform maintains full compatibility with EVM bytecode and accepts transactions formatted according to Ethereum specifications.
The Quicknode Nomina documentation is continuously evolving as the network undergoes upgrades and changes, so we highly recommend cross-referencing with the official Nomina documentation for the latest updates and features.
Make Nomina API Calls
The quickest way to start building on Nomina is to create a Quicknode endpoint and send your first JSON-RPC request.
Quicknode provides managed Nomina endpoints, giving you immediate access to Nomina Mainnet and Omega (testnet) without the overhead of running infrastructure. These endpoints offer:
- High reliability – globally distributed infrastructure designed to minimize downtime
- Enhanced performance – optimized latency and request handling for production-grade apps
- Integrated ecosystem – additional functionality through specialized APIs (add-ons) on the Quicknode Marketplace and products like Streams
Visit the QuickStart page to create your endpoint and send your first request.
