Welcome back to Feature Fridays! This week, we're excited to spotlight TrueTribe, an innovative platform transforming the way projects target and analyze airdrops. Paul Murphy, CEO of TrueTribe, leads this groundbreaking venture with decades of experience in industries like biotech, financial services, telecomms, and AI. His fascination with smart contracts on Ethereum ignited the creation of TrueTribe.

I’m Paul Murphy, the CEO of TrueTribe. I’ve been building software for decades, in many industries, including biotech, financial services, telecomms, and AI. My latest obsession started when I learned about smart contracts on Ethereum.
TrueTribe helps projects target their airdrops and analyze their outcome. Our targeting system finds high-value customers and community members based on criteria provided by each project. Our analytics help marketing teams build campaigns and compare target audiences in order to optimize their marketing spend.
This allows projects to focus on their product. We take care of all the gruesome mechanics behind their airdrops.
We started building TrueTribe 6 months ago. We planned a private beta at the end of June but had to launch at the end of May because some of our Launch Partners were desperate to start marketing their upcoming airdrops. We will be launching our public beta, a fully self-service platform, by mid-August. Until then we are working with Launch Partners to define/refine the product. We have a roadmap that will not only simplify today’s airdrops, but ultimately change the way teams will use them. Stay tuned!
As we saw the first signs of positive market sentiment (back when Bitcoin was at $20K) we noticed that every project we talked to was planning an airdrop. Some were planning an NFT-airdrop fundraising strategy, while others were planning to leverage airdrops to market and build their communities. We also noticed that there weren’t any good tools to support these activities. We found tools to help execute airdrops, tools to manage quest campaigns, and custom marketing agencies, but none that pulled all the pieces together and backed them with an analytics engine. We happened to have been working on a cross-chain analytics engine for a while, so we decided to leverage it to build the ultimate airdropping platform. Thanks to our analytics, projects can target their airdrops to find and reward their most valuable community members. They do this by
finding wallets that meet certain characteristics,
finding users that exhibit desired behavior, and, most importantly,
avoiding sybils.
Post-airdrop our dashboards help marketing teams analyze their campaigns, token performance, and communities.
Going forward we have a lot more planned to make airdrops and other incentive programs easier and more effective.
Before we released a single product screenshot we had signed up a list of Launch Partners across various areas of the crypto ecosystem: DeFi, DePIN, gaming, and wallets. We have been working with these projects to define/refine the product.
In addition we started a Network Partner referral program. Lots of organizations – VCs, L1s/L2s, marketing firms, etc. – have a vested interest in related projects running successful airdrops. Any project referred by a Network Partner receives a 25% discount. We have over a dozen so far and we’re hoping to include Quicknode in the list before long.
We were planning on a public beta at the end of June but one of our Launch Partners, Orca, asked us to start their first campaign at the end of May. Even though the software wasn’t quite ready, we scrambled, and helped them run a successful quest campaign which generated thousands of signups to the TrueTribe platform. We have another half dozen launches in the near-term pipeline. After that we’ll launch our self-service platform.
We currently support wallet signing on 140 networks. Our analytics engine relies on historical databases and RPC nodes. Thanks to Quicknode we can run models on many new chains by simply updating a configuration file on our platform. We’re happy to let them do that heavy lifting!
Founded in 2017, Quicknode deploys institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure for developers and enterprises. With 99.99% uptime and support for 80+ chains, teams build and scale onchain applications without compromise.
