Kairos is a unified terminal for prediction markets, bringing a single, composable interface that enables seamless trading across venues — engineered for speed and performance. The platform was born from a gap its founders identified firsthand: during the 2024 U.S. presidential election cycle, prediction market data was fragmented across different exchanges, leading them to create a unified platform for traders.

Kairos positions itself as a unified execution and intelligence layer for prediction markets, combining real-time pricing, market data, news feeds, and low-latency order execution into a single terminal. The platform is designed to mirror the workflows of institutional trading desks, addressing what traders may describe as fragmented and operationally inefficient processes.

The platform offers 2–3 second faster execution than competitors by integrating real-time data from major prediction market exchanges. Ainvest The founding team brings deep technical pedigree: Jay previously worked in quantitative research at CBOE, where he contributed to early prediction markets initiatives, as well as data science at Geneva Trading and ML engineering at NASA. Zayd worked on low-latency data streaming and orderbook reconstruction at CBOE, and built execution infrastructure for Solana trading platforms.

Kairos raised $2.5 million led by a16z crypto and Geneva Trading, with Illinois Ventures, Illini Angels, and other angels participating in the round. University of Illinois Beyond the trading terminal, Kairos plans to open its technology as an infrastructure layer for developers and other market participants.
