Overview
Insilico Terminal is a free professional trading terminal created by veteran trader Flood, and was the first purpose-built execution interface to support Hyperliquid natively. It runs on HyperCore, Hyperliquid's on-chain perpetuals orderbook, and was designed to bring institutional-grade execution tooling to retail traders without subscription fees.
The terminal supports advanced order types previously reserved for prop desks, TWAP, Limit Chase, and improved scale orders, alongside a full CLI with programmable hotkeys for traders who prefer keyboard-first workflows. Multi-account management lets users execute across several Hyperliquid wallets from one window, with customizable layouts for managing many markets simultaneously. Insilico has processed over $10B in cumulative trading volume.
Security is a priority: API keys are stored only in the user's browser, double-encrypted, and never logged on Insilico's servers. Connecting to Hyperliquid is done either via browser wallet (signing a 1bps builder fee) or by manually pasting an API key. Best for serious discretionary traders, market makers, and prop teams who need a fast, programmable execution surface.
The Problem
The default Hyperliquid UI is built for retail flow and lacks the order types, multi-account workflow, and keyboard-driven execution that serious traders need. Most pro tooling is either CEX-only, hosted (so it sees your keys), or expensive, leaving on-chain traders without a free, non-custodial place to run TWAP, scale, and Limit Chase orders.
