Overview
EigenCloud is a decentralized computing platform built on EigenLayer that brings blockchain verification to real-world applications. It enables developers to build verifiable applications, agents, and services that cryptographically prove the correctness of AI inference, containerized compute workloads, and data availability. The platform currently offers three main components: EigenAI for deterministic, verifiable large language model (LLM) inference compatible with OpenAI APIs; EigenCompute for running containerized workloads with cryptographic proof of execution; and EigenDA, a high-throughput verifiable data availability layer designed for rollups and other decentralized applications.
EigenCloud targets developers and teams building decentralized applications that require trust-minimized verification of off-chain computations and data. By staking ETH and the native EIGEN token, participants can secure off-chain services and earn rewards, aligning economic incentives with network security. The platform supports high throughput, with EigenDA capable of 100 MB/sec data availability, and EigenAI having served over 2 billion tokens in inference requests during its mainnet alpha phase.
