Overview
OrcaLayer is a read-only analytics layer for Polymarket that exposes wallet performance, whale positioning, and market data over a REST API, so developers do not have to reconcile raw Polygon trade data themselves. The index covers over 1.3 billion on-chain fills across 1.6 million markets, all served through a published OpenAPI specification.
Two corrections are applied before any ranking is produced. Wallets whose average buy price exceeds 95 cents are classified as reward farmers, since a high win rate built on near-settled markets reflects market structure rather than skill. Linked multi-outcome markets receive NegRisk correction so a single event is not credited as several independent wins. The full classification methodology is published rather than treated as proprietary scoring.
The developer surface includes REST endpoints, a Python SDK, an MCP server that lets AI agents query wallet data directly, a Server-Sent Events stream for real-time whale trades, and webhook delivery for ISW territorial events. Public endpoints are open without a key, while Premium at 19.99 dollars per month raises limits to 600 requests per minute and unlocks the SSE trade stream. Coverage is limited to Polymarket, so Kalshi and other venues are not supported. It is best suited for developers and analysts building Polymarket dashboards, trading tools, or agents that need farmer-filtered, NegRisk-corrected data without maintaining their own Polygon indexer.
