Quick Fact
Pangolin has achieved over $15 billion in total trading volume, listing more than 3,000 token pairs and processing over 9 million swaps. A major upgrade in 2023 shifted core control to the community, reaffirming its decentralized ethos
Pangolin Exchange is a decentralized, non-custodial exchange (DEX) platform originally launched on the Avalanche C-Chain and developed with support from Ava Labs. Built to provide fast, affordable, and accessible token swaps, Pangolin has evolved into a fully multi-chain AMM protocol supporting concentrated liquidity, cross-chain trading, and community-driven governance.
As the DeFi ecosystem expands across chains, Pangolin offers a seamless liquidity solution for both users and developers navigating multichain environments.
Pangolin has grown from an Avalanche-native DEX to support additional networks, including Avalanche, Hedera, Flare Network, Songbird, Evmos (Cosmos-based).
Additionally, through integrations like LI.FI SDK, Pangolin enables users to swap assets across dozens of chains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Solana—without leaving the interface.
With its v3 upgrade, Pangolin introduced a capital-efficient AMM model that allows liquidity providers (LPs) to concentrate their assets within defined price ranges—improving capital use and trader execution.
Liquidity positions in Pangolin v3 are tokenized as NFTs, allowing greater flexibility. LPs can also earn additional rewards through “in-range” farming, incentivizing active liquidity provisioning strategies.
Pangolin supports permissionless token listings and on-chain community governance through the PNG token, which is used for staking, rewards, and decision-making proposals.
Pangolin is integrated into leading wallets and aggregators and offers SDKs, APIs, and UI components to support dApp development, token launches, and liquidity sourcing across supported chains.
PNG: The native governance and utility token. It is used for staking, voting, farming rewards, and future protocol incentives.
Governance decisions are made via on-chain proposals, allowing community members to influence the roadmap, fee parameters, and emissions schedules.
In a fragmented DeFi landscape, Pangolin delivers a unified experience—combining multi-chain reach, deep liquidity, and user-centric design. Whether you're a retail user swapping assets, a developer launching a new token, or a protocol sourcing liquidity, Pangolin provides the infrastructure to operate across ecosystems efficiently and securely.
Its low fees, high-speed execution, and consistent expansion into new chains position it as one of the most adaptable and accessible AMMs in the current DeFi landscape.
